WSC was recently awarded a contract to provide our state-of-the-art Generic PWR to the Idaho National Lab in Idaho Falls. The GPWR simulator models all the essential components of a Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and allows control under normal and abnormal operating conditions as the simulators cover the full range of plant operations from Cold Shutdown, Hot Standby, Criticality, and Hot Zero Power through Full Power.  INL will focus on using the GPWR Simulator for experimentation and development in the areas of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) design, Hardware in the Loop (HIL) research studies and experimentation, and other applications.
